The Flynn Company was Established in 1980
Formed in 1980, The Flynn Company emerged from the nucleus of the Pennsylvania operation of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes and is now one of the largest and oldest privately held full service commercial real estate companies in Philadelphia. Under the leadership of Kevin Flynn, the firm has continued the development of significant real estate in the region, including millions of square footage of industrial and commercial leases, sales and well over 2,000 acres of development.

2021 – Colin Flynn named Chapter President of Philadelphia SIOR

Colin Flynn was elected President of the SIOR’s Philadelphia chapter. With 3,700 members in 45 countries and 722 cities, SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists. The SIOR designation is recognized as the standard of excellence in industrial and office real estate.
2021 – SEPTA Headquarters

The Flynn Company acquires the Property Management of 1234 Market Street. As SEPTA’s headquarters, this property hails over 12 million SQ of property space that The Flynn Company now maintains and manages.
2021 – Swarthmore Village

The Flynn Company redevelops Swarthmore Village, a 46 unit, 6 property investment portfolio.
2020 – The Flynn Company celebrates its 40th Year Anniversary

Despite the world facing a global pandemic, The Flynn Company celebrated 40 years in business. 2019 – Kevin Flynn Sr., receives “Influencer in Real Estate” Award

Founder & President, Kevin Flynn, Sr., received the honor of Philadelphia Inquirer’s 2019 Influencers of Real Estate Award. Flynn, Sr., was selected by the Philadelphia Inquirer’s panel of experts as an Influencer of Real Estate based on his professional accomplishments, business impact and community involvement over his entire career.
2018 – Purchase of Sentry Park in Blue Bell

The Flynn Company purchased One Sentry in Blue Bell, an 80,000 SF building, and Tamora Construction performed all exterior and interior renovations.
2016 – Philadelphia Inquirer features The Flynn Company

The Philadelphia Inquirer features The Flynn Company once again, this time focusing on our current office,1621 Wood Street. The article features it’s inception and the turn of the neighborhood into a booming residential and office area.
All three Flynn brothers join the company as Brokers

Kevin Flynn Jr. was the first brother to join ‘TFC’ in 1995, followed by Brendan in 2004. In 2006, all three Flynn brothers had officially joined the company with Colin in 2006. Kevin and his sons are active and integral members of the Brokerage team today.
2005 – Harrah’s Casino & Race Track
Redeveloped Sun Shipyard into Harrah’s Casino & Race Track (60 Acres), Joint Venture.
2000 – Chester Charter School For The Arts

Redeveloped building for Chester Charter School For The Arts (150,000 SF) in Aston, PA
1999 – Built U.S General Services Administration Building

The Flynn Company builds the U.S General Services Administration Building
1996 – Superior Property Services

In August of 1996, Superior Property Services was added as a division of The Flynn Company. Superior Property Services acts primarily as a maintenance division for The Flynn Company’s clients. They work to supply, direct and control the daily operations of the portfolio working under the direction of our Property Management team to provide tenant satisfaction and cost effectiveness to each and every property.
1993 – Philadelphia Inquirer features The Flynn Company in “Funky Business”

The Flynn Company was a pioneer when it came to revamping the office to a “work hard, play hard” space. The Philadelphia Inquirer featured The Flynn Company in an article about how Flynn, Sr. inspires his team by filling the office space with pool tables, gumball machines and a usable phone booth.
1992 – The start of “Thursday Night Basketball”

Team work and collaboration is just as important in the office, as it is out. Every Thursday, our team comes together to transform our parking lot and play a few games of full court basketball.
1990 – Immigration Naturalization Service Building

Redeveloped 1600 Callowhill into Immigration Naturalization Service Building (96,000 SF)
1987/1980 – U.S Postal Service Building Parcel G/B in Bucks County

The Flynn Company built the U.S Postal Service Building in Bucks County Business Park, Parcel B (104,000 SF) in 1980.
In 1987 ‘TFC’ develops Parcel G (114,000 SF) of U.S Postal Service Building in Bucks County Business Park.
1987 – TFC Acquires 1621 Wood Street

The Flynn Company acquires current office at 1621 Wood Street, redeveloped from a Taxi Repair Company to its official world headquarters.
1983 – Tamora Construction Company

In May of 1983, Tamora Construction Company was added as a division of The Flynn Company. Tamora focuses on all construction projects for the parent company and its clients. Since it’s inception Tamora has become a trusted, reliable and well known addition to the commercial and industrial real estate world.
1980 – The Flynn Company was formed

In 1980, The Flynn Company was born along with our construction company, Tamora Construction.
1975 – Kevin Flynn Builds United Engineers Building

While still at ‘CCF’, Flynn built the United Engineers Building, a 600,000 SF office building in Philadelphia at 30 S. 17th Street.
